Ayurveda - Integrative Health & Wellbeing

Unhealthy lifestyles, stress, inadequate nutrition, exposure to polluted air, food, and water all cause the body to produce free radicals, mineral and vitamin deficiencies that create imbalances, inflammation, and disease.

Ayurveda, "the knowledge of long life", is an ancient, Indian medical science that is 5,000 years old, the origin of which can be traced back to the Vedas. Ayurveda is based on the premise that the universe comprises five elements: air, water, fire, earth, and ether. These elements are represented in humans as three "doshas" or energies known as Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. When any of the doshas accumulate in the body beyond the desirable limit, the body loses its balance, and disease manifests. Hence balancing these three doshas in our bodies becomes essential.

Ayurveda combines healthy lifestyles habits, modern science, holistic medicine and practices to focus on optimizing your physical health, mental and emotional wellbeing. We treat the body as a whole, addressing underlying causes of imbalances and ill-health rather than focusing on symptoms alone. We determine any potential health risks well in advance and guide you to optimal health and wellness through a well thought out health and lifestyle management plan.

High-quality nutrition, movement, stress management, good sleep habits, and a range of yoga and Ayurveda practices help you achieve youthfulness, longevity and high levels of health and wellbeing.
