Meditation is a practice used to still and focus the mind. Various techniques, such as mindfulness, or focusing the mind on a particular object, thought, or activity can be used to train attention and awareness, and achieve a mentally clear and emotionally calm and stable state.

Meditation is the highest of the yogic practices; the goal of meditation is a state of no-mind. And while this may seem impossible, you can learn how to empty the mind and go deeply within, to experience peace and tranquility. The mind and emotions get disturbed by the ever-changing, impermanent, and often volatile physical environment.

Meditation enables you to stay centered and connected; it helps reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, and increases wellbeing. In this guided course, you will experience simple tools to help you build a self meditation practice. You will develop a great understanding of how your mind works, the importance of regulating the mind and emotions and each session will include a guided meditation to help you build a self-practice.
