Over the last few decades, there has been an upsurge in the popularity of yoga; yoga classes are being offered in every nook and corner around the world. While some deem yoga as just another fad and associate it with new age mysticism, others have experienced the amazing benefits of attending a yoga class regularly. However, the understanding of yoga is mostly limited to the physical postures, known as yoga asana. Yoga is not just a physical practice, but a life practice that gives us the wisdom and guidance to live life skillfully and reach our full human potential, in a world fraught with uncertainty and impermanence.

Physical postures known as yoga asana effectively open up the body layer by layer and balance the energies of the mind and body. All our yoga classes and teachings of yoga are attributed to the late yoga legend BKS Iyengar and based on the wisdom of the ancient text of the Patanjali Yoga Sutras.
